WELCOME
to my Homeschooling Page! I have MANY, MANY things to
share with you...things that I have learned along the
way. I have been homeschooling since 1998 and have
loved every minutes of it...REALLY! Sure there are
challenging days, but the blessing of being home with
my children far outweighs any of those
"hard" days! Below I will share a little of
our "journey", as well as provide lots of
links to articles, websites, planning tips, and MUCH
MORE!
Whether
you are just starting out, are a veteran
homeschooler, or don't homeschool at all...PLEASE
start by clicking to my Getting Started page! The
things I share there are so VERY important and
foundational, I don't want ANYONE to miss it! Go
there first, then come back to this page. Hopefully
there is something here that will help and encourage
you along the way as you educate your children.

My Getting
Started Page!
If
you have just started homeschooling or are thinking
about homeschooling, sometimes it can be very
overwhelming to know exactly where to
"begin" with this big job of educating our
children. PLEASE go to this page FIRST! I will direct
you to some wonderful websites where you can read and
learn what God has to say about educating our
children.
Give Me a
Burden, Lord . . . YOUR Burden! by Cindy
Rushton
Cindy has given me permission to share this very
foundational article that she wrote some years back.
It was this article that the Lord used to get a hold
of my heart and open my eyes to His ways for our
home, our family, and our education. PLEASE read this
article ~ print it out ~ and read it again! You will
be challenged!
Our Homeschooling Journey
Some
of the information on these homeschooling pages are
kind of "out of date", as they reflect how
we were homeschooling during the beginning years. I
would just like to take some time to share where we
are at now and how the Lord has changed and molded us
to be who He wants us to be...individually and as a
family.
My Homeschool Scheduling Page
Here I
share some of the different "schedules" we
have had over the years, as well as some
encouragement as you plan your year.
